People seem to think my best friend's a problem

He goes to school just the same as me
We learn math and art and chemistry

Lunchtime he gives me his bug pudding cup
I offer him cookies. he says "Ew! No! Yuck!"

And Show and tell is fun galore
when he shows off his giant rat Theodore

I ride home on the bus, and he rides in the street
On the back of his rat with its six quick feet

When homework is done, we play for a while
Pretending we're dinosaurs and crocodiles

But its late now, we're tired, it's off to bed!
And after bedtime stories are done and read...
