GE nets PDO compressor contract

GE Oil & Gas received a contract to supply, test, install and commission a fleet of electric motor-driven centrifugal compressors. The compressors will be used in different projects from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), who supplied the contract.
PDO’s endeavors include Kawther Depletion Compression Phase II, Saih Nihayda Depletion Compression Phase II, Yibal Khuff Depletion, and the Burhaan West and Fahud gas lift compression projects. The contract also covers aftermarket services for the compressors and the existing GE compressor fleet.
GE Oil & Gas also signed a 10-year agreement to extend training and development support for the Oman region.
